Our
Third Annual Halloween Gala will benefit Toys For Tots. This
magnificent event will be held Music will be provided by the very popular Franchise band with Pat Hunt and Kimberly Smith (They played New Year's Eve party at the Hyatt Regency-Downtown for the past 15 years). Our one of a kind DJ, Joseph A. Mire of the J.A.M. Session will keep our guest dancing all night long as he did last year. The United States Marines will be on hand to assist in receiving the toys. There will be also a formal presentation by the Marines of the Traditional Color Guard and the National Anthem. Attire is either costume or black tie to maintain an elegant atmosphere. Page Parkes Model and Talent Agency will be one of our sponsors. There will be plenty of beautiful models on hand to assist in collecting toys and receiving our guests. Other major sponsors are being recruited to support our efforts, along with media sponsors to help publicize the Toy Drive and collect more toys. We will be working with our major media sponsors to help publicize and promote this event. Inside Houston Magazine, Texas Live TV Show, HardLight Media and Events Café Magazine are some of our Media Sponsors this year. We are working with KRBE Radio 104 and Telemundo Channel 48 and others to be our sponsors. A fun contest for best costume will be held. A male and a female will be selected to receive the honor. Participants in the contest will be selected by a panel of celebrity judges and winners will be decided by our guests. Valuable prizes valued at $7,500.00 will be awarded to the winners. FOX-News Anchor woman Melissa Wilson will be the co host for this year's gala, along with other local celebrities to form our judging panel. The panel includes Lauren Anderson, Lara Bell, Heidi Burge, Rachel Gage, Cindy Garza, Michelle Hatmaker, Chief Raul Reyes Jr., Cleverley Stone, Rob Todd, Laurette Veres and Brian Wice. A Host Committee was assembled to help invite a diverse group of people representing various professions, age groups, geographical areas, income brackets and ethnic backgrounds. This will bring together a unique blend of guests to make into a very interesting and successful event. All Host Committee Members' names will be printed on the invitations. This event is by invitation only. Admission fee is only $10.00 per guest advance purchase, and $15.00 after October 10th deadline and at the door. Along with a toy in support of our Toys For Tots Campaign. Portion of the proceeds will go to Toys For Tots. Last year's gala netted our needy and underprivileged children more than 5,000 toys. Our goal this year is to collect another 5,000 toys. With the help and support of our guests and sponsors, we will reach this goal again this year.
